what is a funnel and how do you build one
generally most websites should have some sort of funnel and a funnel can be interpreted as a couple different things you could have a sales funnel you could have an opt-in funnel you could have a
content funnel there’s all these different types of funnels you can have but it really just depends on what you set up as your value ladder and i’ve been talking about this for quite a while but this is something that i heard initially from a guy named russell brunson who runs click funnels he
invented click click funnels and basically a funnel has a few different steps so usually a funnel starts with some sort of free content so this would be kind of your content funnel how you bring
people from content up up your ladder you have your next step which is your low ticket offer or actually your free opt-in and this is kind of what you get people to opt into for free like get the
free seo checklist or join the discord group from there you bring them to a low ticket offer like aone dollar mastermind which is what we have here and then from the one dollar mastermind
you bring them into something that’s higher like a 297 dollar subscription so the way you set this up is actually pretty simple you just want to make sure that these are connected when somebody
goes here to get free content like for instance when somebody goes to a blog post of mine i want to make sure that they go into my opt-in when somebody goes into my opt-in i want to make
sure that they go into my uh into my subscription my one dollar mastermind now right now i don’t actually put the mastermind on this page i put it on the on the email so when somebody gets an email after they enter their email it sends them an email and it offers to bring them into
the one dollar mastermind and then from when within the mastermind when people join the mastermind i upsell them on the 297 subscription so if you don’t have something like this you don’t have a funnel for your website or you didn’t know what a funnel was until you just saw
what it is now you really want to think about what does your value ladder look like you know
what how do you get from right here point a where somebody’s just reading content or watching content like maybe a video like this or reading a blog post all the way up the ladder going into an
opt-in going into a one dollar so a low ticket offer going into a medium ticket offer and then eventually a higher ticket offer but a lot of people will start up here they’ll try to figure out what
they want to sell i don’t even recommend you start figuring out things to sell until you actually figure out these first two what are you giving away for free consistently and how many people can you get to actually opt in based on what you’re giving away for free
